  • Lime-loving plants. for this section the plants were gathered at the limestone basin of Blendon Woods, so there is a deposit of limestone where it meets the sandstone hills.

 

 

  • Mosses Both mosses were pictured at Blendon Woods
    • Hypnum imponens. Brocade Moss. The color and the full “leaves” of this fern helped me differentiate it from delicate moss.
    • 2 Thuidium delicatulum. Delicate Fern Moss. This moss truly earns its name as it looks like ti could be hurt with the slightest blow of ones breathe.
